Shop local.Support small.
Chinatown Shop Around is a small, local initiative putting a spotlight on the independent businesses of Honolulu’s Chinatown.
From November 27 through December 25, we’re inviting you to spend an afternoon in the neighborhood: wander a few blocks, climb a staircase or two, and meet the people behind the counter.
Pick a starting point
Use the map to find the spot closest to you. Everything on it is within a few minutes’ walk.
Look up, look around
Some of the best finds are upstairs or tucked mid-block. Each listing has a note on how to find the door.
Make it count
Buy a gift, grab a coffee, book a cut, stay for a drink. Every visit keeps a small business going.
Find your way around
Everything here is a few minutes apart on foot. Pick a spot to see it on the map.
